Γνωρίστε το Motobot: Το robot της Yamaha που οδηγεί μηχανή

Yamaha has unveiled a motorcycle-riding robot at the Tokyo Motor Show. Yahama claims that the robot, called Motobot, will eventually be able to ride an unmodified motorbike at over 200 kilometers per hour (124 miles per hour).

Surprisingly, it actually looks quite cool doing it – although it does still have stabilizer wheels on.

In a brief statement, Yamaha said: "We want to apply the fundamental technology and know-how gained in the process of this challenge to the creation of advanced rider safety and rider-support systems and put them to use in our current businesses, as well as using them to pioneer new lines of business."

Yamaha has also released a cinematic promotional video of Motobot, showing it twisting the clutch, tapping the clutch and steering around an air track. The film also features a cameo from motorcycling legend Valentino Rossi.
